Replacement/upgrade Shocks & springs

I just read that the Falkdesigns guy is no longer on this site (Kevin Falk). I am at a point with my 98 Q45 that I need to replace my shocks so while I have my local dealer under there I thought Id go ahead and get the lowering springs (Tien) and shocks from Kevin. From what Ive read everyone seemed to have a good opinion of him, and Im not having much luck finding these springs any place else. Any one have a suggestion of where to purchase these or if Mr Falkdesigns would still be a reputable seller.

Im 100 miles south of Chicago.

Kevin was just getting the springs, not the shocks.

I'd personally go with the espilir's AV is offering.

Van (aka onetongarage) was the one getting the shocks, those are the hard things to find. If you can pick up the KYB shocks from van getting the springs shoudlnt be a big deal... People like van that do this for a living (importing crap from japan) can do it much more reliably and cheaper than a private individual like kevin.

I woudl personally hit up Van, he's a GREAT guy to deal with, ultra cool and knows his stuff!

Thanks for your advice. I went ahead and contacted Kevin. Sounds like I should get the springs in 2-3 months. Will try to post before and after pictures once complete.

I just e-mailed Kevin at [email protected] and asked if he still hooked up those springs for people and he said yes. I sent him the money via paypal later that day. This was my first transaction with Kevin but being a regular NICO reader it appears he has done this for several other people.
