All,

For my 2004 Maxima SE

My mechanic says that I need new front struts and mounting plates and new rear stabilizer bushings and links. Can anyone recommend non-OEM parts that a) are specifically designed to fit the vehicle, b) offer similar or improved performance compared to the OEM part, and c) cost less than the replacements from Nissan?

Thank you.

Well IMO I would just go for the better suspension, wheither it costs a little more or not, sounds to me like your not looking for a lower or anything like that, and you are going for cheap. I would settle on Eibach springs if you have to replace the the whole deal, throw in the spacers for the wheels, as for the struts which I don't know much about Tein makes great kits for the 04 Max but that will run you 1,200 dollars. I would go with the OEM replacement parts with the Eibach springs, just because I think it would be cheaper, have the springs before you take it in the shop so they can just do it all at once instead of waiting. It looks sick with the spacers (IMO) weither you got rims now or are planning on them later. Hope everything works out good.
