My current 2002 LE needed new shocks at it's last oil change - 105k. This is my third 2002 LE -- bought one new way back in 01. Have had this one about 8 years -- it's an extra car .... bought w/ 60k.

Anyway -- know from experience ...OE is the only way to go. I made the mistake of KYB replacement on the first one -- and my neighbor up the street did not listen to me with his. You can get both the OE from online dealer -- $140.00 ... I ordered some other items as well so shipping was $20. Brake pads // filter etc.

The aftermarket stuff is just too hard ......

There are posts on this from 10 years ago -- but all the old posters are gone.

With hard shocks the back end w/ the solid axel is a bad combination ... the truck also wiggles more. It's counter intuitive .. but?
