I've tried a bunch of different searches and haven't gotten anything back accept the write up "How To" for replacing the Radiato on a 1st gen.

My question is , Would an S14 Koyo be an upgrade for the 2000 Q and will it fit? I just found out that I need to replace my radiator and I have an s14 Koyo sitting on my patio.

I will try and visually check it out once I get my car back, but I wanted to get this done ASAP so I thought I'd ask for help here. Thank you in advance

You gotta be kidding? Right, a rad for a 2.4 vs a 4.1

Most premium [all aluminum] rad might be at best 10% better than oem if a perfect design match for engine.

Accurately measure internal coolant volume to the cc and square size, fins per inch, depth, and fin thickness..................will tell you all you need to know.

Another area of concern is the AT heat exchanger inside radiator end tanks!

Size wise they aren't that different thats why I asked, however....

I didn't know about the AT Heat exchanger inside the end tanks. Thank you.

So is there an upgrade Radiator for this application or just OEM replacement?

http://www.radiatorbarn.com offers one for your car at $ 152.78 delivered, if you order today, or, soon. Delivery is fast. I purchased from them for my Legend.

I have a 300zx z32 koyo in my Q but if you are using the auto trans still you will have to buy a seperate oil cooler for the trans since it will not be a built in one.

Is there any thing other than the AT heat exchanger that I have to worry about. I would rather just throw a transmission cooler on there anyway. But if I need the stock replacement for something else, then I will get that.

Geta a B&M 70264 or 70268. Look at the FSM and you will see the OEM ATF heat exchanger is a joke on the VH41DE.

But why not a stock OEM radiator from Joe?

Here you go: EverythingInfiniti.com - Infiniti of Scottsdale, Arizona. Great resource for OEM parts. Call and ask for Joe Tesensky (or anyone like Cheryl-very nice-, in the parts department), 480-941-0055 or 888-216-5328.

Let's see your Q in your sig rather than the 240

How much for a "stock" radiator from Joe? I am supposing that by stock you mean OEM?

The guy has a 2000 and am presuming has a failed OEM radiator? If that is the case I question replacing IT with one of the same? Unless the price is equal of course? But then you must pay shipping?

Can you say that Infinity radiators are not furnished by some separate radiator making contractor to be delivered and installed in the cars "just in time" as is the practice by other car manufacturers? And also supplied to the spare parts system?

Thanks for the info, and it will be very soon. I just want to get some better pictures of it first.
