Hey guys I had a quick question about getting a replacement key. I tried searching on the forums but didn't find s***, could always be that I'm horrible at searching either way. I searched the part number on eBay for the key fob and I found one for about 28 bucks. Now my question is, has anyone bought an eBay intelligent key fob then taken it to the dealership to get it programmed? I'm just wondering because the retail price and eBay price is over $100 difference.. So I am kind of curious.

I can't speak for eBay, however my parents purchased a key for their Rogue from a seller on Amazon. The first one they shipped was defective. The second one worked.

The dealer will charge to program, and the backup key inside the remote will need to be cut to match. I am unsure how much a dealer will charge. I have been quoted $99 at my local dealer before, but that was several years back.

i lost my only key recently. and had to go to the dealer for a replacement since i could not afford to wait for my key to arrive from online.
i payed 386 for two intelligent keys and 1 blade + programming.
it was 120 each for each key fob, and 20 for the blade. + 1 hour of labor for programming at $106 /hour.

so youre just gonna need to pay for labor.
be sure to bring in all your keys, any previous working keys not programmed at that time will stop working.
