I have a buddy that bout a pair of hood struts online a few days back and he went to install them and he couldnt figure it out.

the guy with customer service says he's sold more then 200 of them and about 25 were returned because the customer didn't know how to install them. I haven't looked at them yet but i thought it was pretty much straight forward.

I am going to assume your talking about a Z31 as the S30 and S130 used torsion bars to lift the hood, and best I recall when I replaced the hood struts on my z31 there was a bit of an issue, the stock strup uses a bracket that had to be removed or drilled I really don't recall which, thats been some years back, I seem to recall the strut came with instructions to that effect as well
