Hey everyone, my driver side low beam headlight went out last night and after calling a few autopart stores, I don't want to spend the $100 plus on a damn bulb. I looked around and found some crap and found some decent stuff. I was hoping someone could let me know if the link below will match my stock passenger side bulb that I would like to leave alone. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it! Thank you

How do you know it is a defective bulb?

Have you swapped bulbs from the passenger side?

So you don't think it could possibly be a fuse or even the ballast?
Or if you put in an incorrect bulb and it takes out the ballast and or a fuse then you will end up replacing both.

I took it apart yesterday, the bulb seems to be fine. I assume its a bad ballast because I believe the same fuse runs both headlights. If someone has more info on the fuse situation that would be nice to check before buying a new ballast...

Never make assumptions, You need to prove before you start replacing parts that may not be defective in the first place.
That is exactly what inexperienced so called mechanics do working in independent shops that charge a lower labor rate than what dealers charge,

As you read thru the FSM you will notice that troubleshooting calls for the use of both Consult ll and a voltmeter
I am assuming that you have access to neither.

Follow the FSM and troubleshooting steps for your vehicle.

General Precautions for Service Operations AKS00AW6

Never work with wet hands.
Xenon headlamp includes high voltage generating part. Be sure
to disconnect battery negative cable (negative terminal) or
power fuse before removing, installing, or touching the xenon
headlamp (including lamp bulb).
Turn the lighting switch OFF before disconnecting and connecting
the connector.
When turning the xenon headlamp on and while it is illuminated,
never touch the harness, bulb, and socket of the headlamp.
When checking the headlamp on/off operation, check it on vehicle
and with the power connected to the vehicle-side connector.
Do not touch the headlamp bulb glass surface with bare hands or allow oil or grease to get on it. Do not
touch the headlamp bulb just after the headlamp is turned off, because it is very hot.
Install the xenon headlamp bulb socket correctly. If it is installed
improperly, high-voltage leak or corona discharge may occur
that can melt the bulb, connector, and housing. Do not illuminate
the xenon headlamp bulb out of the headlamp housing. Doing
so can cause fire and harm your eyes.
When the bulb has burned out, wrap it in a thick vinyl bag and
discard. Do not break the bulb.
Leaving the bulb removed from the headlamp housing for a long
period of time can deteriorate the performance of the lens and
reflector (dirt, clouding). Always prepare a new bulb and have it
on hand when replacing the bulb.
When adjusting the headlamp aiming, turn the aiming adjustment
screw only in the tightening direction. (If it is necessary to loosen the screw, first fully loosen the
screw, and then turn it in the tightening direction.)
Do not use organic solvent (paint thinner or gasoline) to clean lamps and to remove old sealant.

Wrong!

See schematic diagram section LT page 9

What does that mean?

Either the bulb is good or it isn't

If I were you I would get a quote from a dealer to check out your vehicle if you do not have the proper tools, and troubleshooting skills prior to doing more damage to your electrical system.

Just my $.02
