A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

The MR20 (what you have) and QR25 are direct bolt-ins, which is probably obvious.

Aside from that, no one has swapped one yet. I'd be willing to bet that you could get a VQ35 from an Altima or Maxima in without too much trouble aside from custom engine and trans mounts, as well as axles.

Why are you looking for one, exactly?

If you're just looking for a replacement, stick to what you have - the MR20.

Hmm, personally I wouldn't do a swap for only 60 horse increase, but if there are a wider variety of parts, I suppose so.

For what it's going to cost to drop a 2.5 in your 2.0, you might as well trade it in and have a warranty.

Right, but $1500 for the engine, plus all the stuff you need from an SE-R or Spec V to make it fit, plus install costs. That's going to be a lot more than the trade-in difference.

Insurance really isn't going to be that different. They're both fairly low power econoboxes, certainly not sports cars.
