Replacement Engine

Ive got a few questions on Replacement Engines on a 92 240sx.A while ago I had my block destroyed (still trying to figure out how) while driving to school.Ive been looking at finding a new engine for my car.Ive seen alot of different options but Im not sure on what is compatable or not.Like i said its a 1992 240sx (hatch) nothing special.What I would like to know is what fits and what doesnt.Sr20 aside, what can I put in it.I see KA24des for sale but from other cars/ different years.SR20 is a little out of my budget at the moment. I just need to get moving again, and its pretty hard to find just a ka24de from another 92 240.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty much any KA24DE from a 240 will bolt into that car. If you use a 95 and up motor you willl need to swap intake manifolds and distributors.

i just put in a 96 motor in my 91, u have to swap intake and exhaust manifolds, distributor, a.c, i used my power steering and i think thats it, oh and ur old harness and ecu
