The car i just bought has ksport coilovers on it. The car is a 2000 SE 5spd Maxima. The springs are real stiff and the shocks are blown, and i wanted to know if there are some softer replacement springs for these coil overs? Is there a company i can get a custom set of springs made? Where would i go to find out the spring rate, so i have an idea of how much softer spring rate i might need? The car is a daily driver, since my shocks are blown, how do you think the ksport and tokico illuminas would work together? Would it still be alot stiffer than everything else out there? Are the ksport coilovers stiffer than the eibach springs(never rode in a car with eibach springs), thank you for your time.

If the shocks are blown, and the springs are too stiff, then it is time to replace the coilovers. You will have a bouncier/harsher ride on coilovers most of the time.

Eibach springs are really stiff. I never noticed how stiff they were until I got the G35, and drove the same roads.

You may look into Tein springs, and Tokico Illumina struts. It will still have a lowered stance, and better drivability than stock, and less harsh than what you have now.
