Need to start planning on replacing the clutch setup in my coupe. I am not looking for a racing clutch, but would not mind something of a higher performance nature. Any recommendations for a brand name that I should take a look at?

Thanks.

Competition clutch, JWT, Nismo, RPS, and Exedy to name a few. I have a stage 4 competition clutch with a lightweight flywheel.

The thing about the G35 is the flywheel is a dual-mass design to help eliminate driveline vibrations. These vibrations make the transmission gears chatter. If you go aftermarket, your car will rev like a race car, but you will have some form of chatter/rattle.

I installed a JWT combo for my friend with a 350Z. I think it was a great setup. Not too aggressive for normal driving but gives a noticeable performance edge over stock.

We got his from Forged Performance for like $775 with the flywheel/clutch/ss clutch line/throwout bearing/pilot bearing/pivot ball. You can't beat that deal.

I have the JWT stage 2 with flywheel combo...

I love it... Mine is still a little stiff but that is because it is new!

I paid 800 bux shipped and when it arrived UPS had damaged the package... They overnighted me the item to the dealership where they were waiting to install the new clutch disk.

I have never had such great customer service.
