Anyone know of where I can find replacement carpet for a 94Q? I've emailed some auto carpet site on the web, but all come back saying they don't have that pattern.

Thanks,

Stephen

Not sure how much new carpet would cost... I'd check with Joe. Finding aftermarket carpet of the same quality and getting it molded to the correct shape would be difficult. Might also check for a low mileage 96 in a junk yard with your color. http://www.car-part.com is a good place to search.

Yeah, I actually did the same thing with an old maxima of mine. Carpet came out looking like new! Well.... I tried it on my 94Q and the soap at the car wash combined with something in the carpet to bleach certain areas of the carpet. So I had the carpet re-dyed..... and instead of the biege color they promised, it came out dark brown. So now I REALLY need new carpet!!!!!

Man, I'm glad that infinitihelp.com isn't the only place to buy stuff for our cars... Some of that stuff is DOUBLE Joe's price!

Call Joe on the carpet - Also, it may sound crazy, but JCWhitney has molded carpet kits for almost any car out there.

I would like to replace the carpeting in my '93 J as well. I checked at JC Whitney with no success...

What car is the J based on? (Maxima?) Anyone know how close that car is to the J inside, If the carpet is close you could probably fudge it under the seats, center console, etc. where you would not see any overlap or wrinkling...

I will find a solution, one way or another. I have been checking the wrecking yards, but most don't bother to pull out the carpeting as it tends to get ruined before they could.

Any other thoughts?

I just did the mats in mine -- got them from Joe -- looks like a new car!
