Stock battery has 585 CCA.Is it ok to put battery with 600 - 700 CCA? I haven't found more CCA battery with the same physical size as stock. There is 800CCA, but it has additionall terminals which is not encouraged here as I understand :)

Also, is there anything special I should follow during changing Q's battery, like resetting computer etc.?

I disconnected my battery many times before. The only 2 things that you'll need to do are reseting the radio stations and the seat memories. Everything else will work like normal.

Yes its preferred to not have additonal terminals, but I wouldn't consider it a huge deal either. If the strongest battery u can find ... no biggie.

I found an Optima Red Top 750CCA for $100 in local store. But it has a second pair of terminals. Go for it?

that's a lot of money for a battery thats only 750CCA.I like to have a lot fo reserve. For $100 you should be able to get a 900 CCA one.

But this is Optima, everybody praise them here :)This model usually costs 130. How important is high CCA in the hot climate?

Ok, I tried to install it but clamps appeared to be short for this configuration.

Optima has terminals located closer to its center: RedTop U-4,2L

Negative clamp sits ok but positive one is short and cable is not flexible enough to snap on the terminal. It's got fuse and what not in the plastic cover.

So what I think is to buy short extension cable with a clamp on the one end and replace an existing one with it.

The shortest cable I've seen in Autozone was 12in. Is there any problems with that? It's just not going to look neat I guess. Anybody knows where to get little bit longer clamp than standart one? Thanks!
