Replacement Alarm Remote for Q45

Hi All,

The original remote control for my 95 Q45 is on its way out. A local dealer wants $151 for the part plus $45 for programming the new one plus tax (pennies shy of $210 with tax).

Anybody has any suggestions for me? Is there a comparable non-Infiniti brand remote that would work my Q? Any ideas?

Hi!

I got a second one (used Q45 purchase from local dealer four years ago - did not get two remotes) from eBay for about $50 plus shipping. The programming is pretty easy enough - there are a number of posts about it on these forums and you can search for it easily. I was able to get mine working in a few minutes of following the instructions.
