Just got the whole tire rotation/ oil change thing done and told the dealer my tire pressure light has been on forever. They checked it and it is going to be replaced because it is not functioning. This is the tire pressure controller assembly. After a week, i'm still waiting. This is the THIRD malfunctioning piece on my car and I haven't had it a year yet. BUT, I STILL LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY CAR! I am so happy with this little piece of beauty and comfort. I wouldn't trade the hours of waiting at the dealer for my baby for anything. My kids even love my car. My husband hates it, but he drives a ford f- whatever anyway...My only regret is not getting the inteligent key thing. I wish now that I had gotten it. But buying was a nightmare anyway. Hated my dealer and would never go back to them for anything. Has anyone had any other complaints out there?

Yes.The light had come on about a day after we bought it.(September '06)The dealer fixed it shortly after. The light comes on again.(October '06)The dealer fixes it again.the light turns on...AGAIN!A total of three times and finally the dealership tells me they will order a part, BUT ITS ON BACKORDER!!!!so i have to wait two months and I just got it done last week...no it turns out they need to also order the harness part for the darn recall notice.

The only complaint that comes to my mind is regarding my window deflectors. The dealer's technician installed them in a way that my front door touches the rear window's deflector wheni close it, tearing the plastic black tape on the vertical column of the front door. On the other side, the rear door's deflector's tape is not glue correctly. Is it that hard to use double-sided tape ?

The TPMS system has been a nightmare, particularly for early production (pre-December 2006) Versas. There was a TSB issued on this, though not all cars were covered. Almost all instances where there are multiple TPMS failures, either the BCM or tire sensor(s) have failed. Sadly, some dealerships don't actually look for the failure and just reset the code.

Yeah the TPMS has been a problem for some time but your dealer will fix it. It might take them some time...it took them 2 months to fox my power window.
