I just got the new clutch slave cylinder hose for the 320 pickup from Brad at:

in Whittier CA.

He made it from a photo and dimensions for length and end fittings and it is a perfect replacement for the fifty year old original hose. Just over $20 delivered to my mailbox half way across the country. We don't have a good reliable and affordable hose builder here in 'small town' Oklahoma, so I'm sure that I'll be using this service again in the future.

That looks great! :bigthumb: I was following that thread in the Ratsun forum and was wondering how it would turn out. I'm glad it worked out for you.

Any reason for not using a braided cable instead? I'm hoping to get mine replaced as well in addition to the rear brake hose. Debating on whether to stick with the stock threaded nut fitting or one that uses a clip that slides in place.

Deerio,
If it had been an application higher up on the engine, I probably would have done stainless fittings and braid. With the clutch hose being on the very bottom and wedged between the starter and torsion bar and running in the road dust and grime, I decided to go with original construction. Easier to wipe down and won't hold the grime like the braid.

Gotcha. That makes sense... For some reason I thought braided brake/clutch hoses were PVC coated or something.
