so i just did that today and wasn't too bad except the lower hose - about half an hour of cursing out the japs for their small hands. glad i decided to put a new one on because when i poured out fuel from the old filter it was brown - not a good sign. but that's done.

now i'm waiting for my ebay cai to show up so i can put that on. i know that the paper thin tubing they sell isn't worth **** so i'm gonna visit my local plumbing&heating supply store and get some real heat wrap - with an actual r value - to keep the heat out.

i've decided that since i'll be taking out the stock intake might as well take off the intake manifold and replace my valve cover gaskets because the old ones leak. might as well retorque the cam bearings because i bet they're a little loose after close to 200k on the odo...i'm guessing because when i bought the car the odo was stuck at a little over 152k - someone tried to roll it back is my guess.

anyways i'll take some pics so you guys know how not to do it because i have a talent for learning from my mistakes.

learning from my mistakes...

i forgot to mention i used a vise grip on the upper fuel line to stop it from leaking when changing the filter - don't do it. a lot of pressure builds up and i had a little fountain when i released it

did you pull out the fuel pump fuse under the dash before you did the job?

On a 95 Nissan the fuel pressure pump fuse # should be #32
