Just installed an SR20 blacktop in my 240. Runs great! After a few miles noticed a coolant leak under the water pump. Replaced the pump and still got water leaking from just under the water pump after a few miles.

Before each install, i dried the pump area, removed all sealer, placed a bead of new sealant on the pump and installed it. Today, after letting it cure for 24 hours, I loaded in coolant and it started leaking from up under the water pump as I was filling up the radiator!.

There is a plug in the block just below the water pump that appears to be where the most water is located . Not sure if water is coming out of it or if it is just under leak.

I am stumped.

could be a block-drain plug. it might not be fitting to snug anymore or it may not be in all the way. probably just need to replace it or shove it in there a little bit.

Check and make sure the bottom water neck isn't leaking. You may have to take it off and inspect it for cracks. Then seal it back up.
