Replaced rear shocks. Should have done this the day I bought it.

I bought my 99 QX4 with 112k miles in December 07. I knew the shocks were shot, but didn't mess with it. Whenever I had even one client (Realtor) in the back it was horrible over any speed bump, railroad track, dip, etc.. I took it in to rotate the tires and got a quote for a whopping $150 for KYB's and they could do them in 15 min. while I was there so I siad, "DO IT NOW!" Of course, there was some sort of weird offset issue so they put on Gabriels which were $12 cheaper but I didn't care, I just wanted to improve the ride.

HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! Should have done this from day 1. Now I can give my clients gift cards to Home Depot rather than Boise Orthopedic Clinic at closing.

Yeah, I like mine in the front, but need to do the rears.

It's all messed up. When I had a garage to do work whenever the hell I pleased, I didn't have the money.

Now I have the money but can't do crap because I have no garage!

what KYB you suggest? GR2 or the gas-a-just

I just put on GR2 struts in the front, and getting ready this morning to do the gas a justs' in the rear.

With just the new struts on, I noticed a huge difference in the overall ride.

The gas a justs' are supposed to be a little stiffer than the GR2s', atleast thats why I went with the gas a justs over the Gr2s'.

Also re-packed the bearings, and installed my shiny brand new Rotors....No more wheel shake!!!!
