My radiator cracked and I replaced it with an OEM one. Now the car warms up just fine, heat blows out of the heater vents but the temp gauge won't go higher than just above the C. Is this ok, I mean if half way up the gauge is normal temp (I think it's 140 degrees) then I'd say the engine gets to about 120 degrees. It's really cold out would that have anything to do with it. I know the thermostat is ok cause it ran fine before I swapped out the radiator. Any advice would be helpful. I did search and pretty much found nothign.

check your sensors, replace the thermostat anyway, and operating temp is 195ish

Bleed the air out of the system, the coolent might not be circulating effciently ....

also, did you replace with a stock radiator or aftermarket? I Live in Texas and after I went to a Koyo radiator my car ran 10-20 degrees cooler even in the summer. And during the winter on the freeway would not warm up at all

If it is below freezing out it can take quite awhile to warm up but your temperature is not normal. find some hills, air rises to the highest point.
