I just finished replacing my pads and had my rotors turned on my 1996 240SX SE... so I got it all back together and it does not have much pressure on the brake pedal. It goes about half way to the floor without engaging the brakes... then it catches just a little. I did not remove the calipers, but I did turn the rear caliper pistons a little to the left to loosen them up a little before turning them to the right to set them back into the calipers, which may have lowered the brake fluid level enough to let some air into the lines, but I didn't think that it was that low. Anyways, the E-brake doesnt have any tension at all and the brake pedal won't build up much pressure either. This is the 10th or 11th brake job that I have done (along with 3 different caliper replacement jobs) but when just replacing the pads and rotors, this has never happened before.
Is the problem likely that some air got into the lines, or is there something else that I might be missing?
My buddy is coming over tomorrow to help me bleed the brake lines to see if that fixes it... but if that doesn't work, is there anything else I should try?
