Hey guys, after replacing my idle air control valve on my '01 I30 it now will idle but at around 1500 rpm even after it's warmed up. This is after it went through a period of radical rpm shifting from 2500 - 1200 rpm when I think it might have been relearning a proper idle speed.
Is there an adjustment on the IACV where there's a place for an allen wrench? If so, is there a special tool to adjust the idle?
Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

is it 1500 rpm in idle or in drive? Sounds too high regardless
The floor shop manual should tell you the RPM
On the 95 there is a green screw which controls the air volume for the iacv

My RPM's are 1500 in both neutral and in gear (drive). This '01 doesn't have a green screw but there is an opening for an allen wrench as I mentioned in my post.
Thanks for your response to my inquiry.
