I just put in a new fuel injector yesterday. It all started last weekend. I started up my car and knew right off I had a dead cylinder. I shook and sputtered like cray. I inspected plugs and wires, all good there. I the moved on to the injectors. Bingo. The injector on cylinder number one was open. I replaced the injector and it ran fine, for about an hour. Then the idle started getting a little shaky. I didn't think a whole lot of it because the idle will bobble from time to time anyway. On my way to work today I idled terrible jumping from 200- 900 rpm. Then it sounded like there was a cylinder going in and out as I was driving and there was a loss of power and then surging. When given a little more gas however the car pulled hard. When I got of work I couldn't even get it started. I don't have a clue whats going on. I planned on looking at my injector pulse with an oscilloscope but haven't gotten under the hood because it is sitting at work.
