replaced driveshaft now car wont start..

hey guys so i just replaced my driveshaft with a one piece luminum one and now when i try to start my car i here a loud clicking all the lights flicker and my alarm goes off... i checked the starter wires and they are fine. what could be wrong?

Did you disconnect any wires? There is a ground strap that is located on or near the trans mount. Check that and if it's connected... try tapping the starter with a hammer. It's possible that your starter decided to go out on sheer coincidence.

If still nothing... check alt wires and belt tension. Then check battery cables and voltage.

Do you still use a carrier shaft bearing with a 1-piece? I don't think so, but if you do, its possible to put it on upside down.
