Good afternoon, not a mechanic by any means! Looking for information about how to correctly break in New CVT transmission in my 2008 Rogue. Took it in for whining(original transmission) and had it replaced. Really want to take better care of this one!
Thanks tons!

If required, there would probably be something in the owners manual about taking it easy on the transmission during the first few hundred miles. And if the owners manual doesn't say it, then it definitely doesn't need it.

"When all else fails, RTFM."

The original CVT's in the 2008 Rogues were prone to problems, so much so that Nissan had to extend the warranty on them. The best advice I can offer is to take your vehicle to the dealership every 30k miles to have the CVT fluid checked.
