i replaced my clutch/flywheel this weekend with a nismo clutch / toda flywheel...clutch was used however still had tons of life left on it..and the flywheel was machined the morning it was put in...

after who knows long i go to drive it with the back end still up in the air...and the tires wont move..i can put it in gear when running, and let the clutch out and it wont stall..it makes 0 grinding/chattering noise what so ever....the only possibility i can think of is my flywheel was possibly machined too much??thanks in advice for any advice!

No..the clutch pressure plate is probably stuffed.

Normally when installing the pressure plate onto the flywheel, the bolts have to be torqued down to get the pressure plate sitting flush against the flywheel. This preload is what determines the clamping pressure.

When flywheels are machined, the friction surface and mounting surfaces are normally surface ground to the same level, by removing the pins that locate the pressure plate. Is it possible the flywheel friction surface was all that was machined?
