I replaced the 4 drive belts on my 97 Q45 (85k miles). I bought OEM belts from Scottsdale Infinity (1-888-216-5328) for about $45.

It took the 2 of us almost 2 hours to replace all 4 belts. The two top belts for the alternator took more time because we had to remove the fan and the pulley brackets. It took us longer because we had no instructions and had to figure things out.

Please feel free to write to me for questions on drive belt replacement procedure for 97 Q45.

Goodluck

Randy,

It's unlikely guddug checks the forums much. He posted that almost a year ago. Email him directly. You can also download the factory manual for $20 from http://www.infinititechinfo.com. The job shouldn't be too hard, just remember to loosen the bearing nuts before turning the tensioners. Good luck!

Thanks very much for the quick response guys!!!I was able to access and replace the PS and A/C belts from underneath after removing the panel. It was a pretty easy job...
