I replaced my battery yesterday, and now my moon roof will only open an inch for every time I press the button, so to get it open all the way, I have to keep bumping the open button. Do you think these two events are related?

Thanks!

They are related, after you open your roof all the way inch by inch then fully close your moon roof it will reset and work fine. This will happen anytime you disconnect your battery. I don't know why. others may give you a more in depth answer.

You'll have to re-calibrate your sunroof's closed position... it forgets this whenever the battery is disconnected. Close the sunroof all the way. Once it's closed, hold the switch in the 'close' position for 5 seconds... it should make a click sound. Once this is done, it should work as normal.
