I was looking on eBay and found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

I bought one of these from this guy about a month back and they work great! I contacted him directly and got it that way...charged me $35 shipped. Gets in the way of the shifter (with 5-speed) if the cup/bottle is tall but it's a lot better they those that hang on your door or from your air vents. If I remember I'll take a picture if mine in my car and post it tomorrow.Oh yeah...it's just painted black...not that carbon fiber.

That's the second time I've seen this picture... Removing the ashtray works as a cupholder. I'm not going to pay someone when I can just pop it out and pop it back in in a matter of seconds...

Yeah, that's the picture that the guy sent me. I've seen it online a few times myself. I also, along with many of us, used to take out my ashtray and used the hole as a cup holder. I just wanted something that looked better, more stable. I think it was worth it. I'm very pleased with it...the only thing is, it doesn't have a hole for the light to shine in. So I'm going to trim a small hole in the side with my Dremel tool then glue a thin stiff piece of clear plastic over the hole. Think it will look nice. I've got an LED to replace the reg. bulb as well.

I don't know if that'd really work. I've tried just putting cups and crap in the hole the ashtray sits in and I can't fit anything in there.

yeah this is vert's biggest problem... cup holders =( thats deffentily something i want when my top is down

i've removed my ashtray and i've figured if you stick to can's of soda or smaller types of drinks its just about right for driving with 5 a speed

yeah, fugg the ashtray idea, i always smash my drink open when im shifting. the best thing i have found so far, because the lid for my armrest is temporarly removed, just stick it in there and wedge it with something.

Im stocking up on those OEM cupholders next time Im at the junkyard....
