Replace Transmission Oil Cooler?

Howdy!

I have a 1996 Pathfinder. I had the radiator replaced last Summer and have noticed that the hoses on the transmission oil cooler are now leaking coolant. I was considering just replacing the hoses, but then realized the oil cooler appears to be stock and a bit worse for wear. I wanted to ask if anyone would recommend replacing the whole unit instead of just the hoses? If so, can anyone attest to whether this is a challenging install? It seems pretty simple just by looking at it, but, again, I thought I should ask.

The transmission went out a few years ago and I had it rebuilt. I've noticed that it does jump from time to time when putting it in reverse, so I want to do all I can to make sure that this rebuild lasts as long as possible.

Any tips, thoughts, and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Just to clarify, the transmission oil cooler lines are leaking COOLANT or ATF?

Howdy!

I believe it is leaking coolant, in part because I had to refill the coolant reservoir the other day and the levels have dropped again.

When I follow the two black hoses out of the transmission oil cooler to where they meet the metal lines running to the transmission behind and below the radiator, I can clearly see where moisture is seeping out on the metal lines (I'm not sure what the technical name for those may be).
