I like the Conti OEM tires, on my 2009 Versa 1.8 S (Manual). Need to replace at 34,000 miles. Not happy, but needed to perform more tire rotations :(

That said do not want to spend $112 per tire. Any Brand / model of tire suggestions?

Big concerns; Treadware, Traction, and NOISE.

Thanks

I have had good luck with Yokohama Avid TRZ on my other vehicles. The Conti OEM tires on my Versa are some of the worst tires I have ever used in wet weather or snow and I can't wait to get rid of them.

i got a set of Kumho Solus KR21 for my 2009 versa. I love them. it is much more of a smoother ride and i have not felt like the car was pulling going through puddles like with the conti's. they were little over 60 a tire. well worth the money. have an 85000 mile rating on it i believe. know it was either 85000 or 80000. i plan on buying these anytime i need tire as long as these last close to as long as they say. no doubt in my mind at the moment.

The conti's wore out at bout 30000. rotated and balanced when due but didnt matter. they are just crumby tires.

I replaced my conti's with Michelin Primacy mxv4's from tirerack.com currently they run $98.00 per tire. the tread life warranty is 6yrs/ 60,000 miles.

In the winter I run Michelin x-ice 2.

Thanks to all of you who repiled. I was close to purchase the Kumho tires, but at the time they did not have the size and could not wait.

That said I had installed Firestone FR710 86T tires. Noise level is pretty good as is handling. I've not yet tried the tires in rain. I'll let you all know.

Again thanks for your help..... $73.00 per tire installed. 65g miles
