Replace speaker in premium bose system?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I think my Front driver side door speaker needs replacing. I have the bose sound system and want to know what the best way to go about doing so?

What year do you have, and is it still under warranty? If so, I would go to the dealer and have them replace it. If not, I recommend finding another BOSE speaker online and replacing it yourself. I wouldn't recommend replacing with non-bose because of the amps and the system being totally different.

Im sure the G35/37 line has the exact same door speakers. There isnt much variation between models.

I would definitely try ebay, and see if the speakers from a G sedan will fit. I am almost positive they are the same size and connection

Does it matter that they are used? Im not entirely sure that the speaker itself needs replacing. I do get a little vibration in the door (near the window controls) when certain bass notes hit at high volume. Or if something is loose? Or how to go about correctly taking door panel off? This is my first Infiniti... Still learning....
