No one has done an M37 Spark Plug HowTo to my knowledge, just M56. For what it's worth, I took mine to the dealer (and I also do my own spark plugs) due to the impossibility of the rear plugs by the firewall. I have a lot of tools...but evidently not whats needed to do those. Not sure of the M37, its likely easier as its a smaller engine, but keep that in mind.

Maybe a G37 tutorial/video will get you 75% of the way there. The rest of the way can be figured by looking at your engine bay to see what is different about the M engine bay layout.

What Infiniti models carry the VQ37VHR engine. Don't know what engine is in the G37.
Thanks EdBwoy, for the reply.

You're welcome; here's the list I can think of at present.

Sedans:
Infiniti G37
Infiniti Q40
Infiniti Q50 3.7
Coupes:
Infiniti G37
Nissan 370z
Infiniti Q60, earlier models
Crossovers:
Infiniti EX37
Infiniti QX50, earlier models
Infiniti FX37
Infiniti QX70, v6

I believe you will see more tutorials for the G37. Otherwise, you can reference the service manual for the official instructions.

From the youtube videos, the front two should be accessible, but looks like you need to remove your intake tubes and throttle bodies to access the back 4 spark plugs.

I replaced mine with success. Used Denso. Trick is to remove both throttle bodies, and remove the fuel line regulator by the right front cylinder. Normal tools worked fine, used universal joint between socket and ratchet extension.

Do not try to remove front right plug without removing fuel pressure regulator. It's easy to remove, but I tried without removing it, broke something, and had to replace the regulator which is a b****.

Thanks wdebow, new someone would try it, I was more concerned about the throttle bodies than anything. I heard don't move the butterfly or they will have to relearn idle, etc. But cleaning them seems to be the normal thing to do with well over 100k on the engine and your right there. Did you clean yours, we're they dirty at the bottom, how many miles on yours.
Thanks so much

Did clean throttke bodies, they weren't particularly dirty. No problem afterwards.

90000 miles.

Thanks, good to hear, knowing my car does not have the VIRUS it will be ok to touch it, spark plugs and T/B cleaning will be in its future.
Low miles for your car, mine has 237982, great car.
