Replace solenoid for 92 Q Sony CD changer setup?

I have a 92 Q with a trunki-mounted 6 CD changer. A few weeks ago, I could no longer switch between the radio, tape player and CD (center console mounted control box). I recall this happening many years ago and being told that there is a solenoid that does the control. It was replaced and all was well.

Is anyone familiar with where the solenoid is located and whether it can be readily exposed? Considering the problem that I have recently had with my MAF connection, I wonder whether it is the solenoid itself or perhaps just the connection.
