Replace lock for glove box

My 2001 QX4 did not come with the key to the glove box, is there a part I can buy to replace it? Thanks!

The key to your car is what locks/unlocks it, there isn't a separate key.

I am also missing the remote so I am thinking the keys were lost and they replaced the ignition?

So you have to manually lock/unlock the car? I'm not sure how to go about getting a new lock for the glove box but I'm sure it would be a pretty lengthy and expensive process if you are trying to retain your current keys. I'm not even sure if you can get a new lock and a new key just for the glove box.
