Does anyone know where I could send lifters to have the o-rings replaced?

I replaced all my HLA o-rings using 2 viton o-ring kits from harbor freight.

No other option that I know of other than buying new ones.

Right on, so is it an easy replacement ?The o-rings are just pealing off the lifters and I can't tell how they where originally placed on there or what gauge and exact diameter I need.

There should be measurements in the FSM: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Q45/1994_Q45/em.pdf.

You can also try looking in the VH/VK engine section: zeroforum/19.

Is this a common issue? Never heard it mentioned in my 7 years here?

What are the synptoms of the bad o rings?

When I pulled the top of the motor I noticed the o-rings where half there or pealing from the lifters. I spoke with a local infiniti tech and he said might as well replace them since I'm in there. I think the only advantage to replacing the lifter o-rings is longevity of the lifters. But don't quote me lol

Better read very carefully the section of the FSM on removing and replacing the HLA. No walk in the park, and not for the average Garage Joe.
