I have a 2010 Altima. I want to replace the headlight bulb from 55w to a 80 w H11. Will the factory harness able to handle the wattage. Will some one help me please. Also, how to get to the bulb. There is not enough space to get to the bulb.

I wouldn't advise it as I have seen a high powered aftermarket bulb burn through a harness on a Quest. Not saying it will happen to you, but just letting you know my experience.

Thank you, Can you advise me if the H11 upgrade harness would handle the wattage. I saw a plug n play h11 upgrade harness on a website. The website said that the ceramic connector would handle the wattage.

please reply

If you're going through this much trouble I would suggest to get HIDs. And to get to the bulb go through the wheel well or take off the front bumper and take the headlight off.

do HIDs last longer than if you upgraded the headlight wiring harness and gone with 80w or 100w halogen HID looking bulbs?? I thought that HIDs were much brighter but didn't last as long as higher rated halogen bulbs

I second the HID conversion. I bought a 35w 6000k kit for $35 and it took 30 minutes total to install going through the fender liner. No regrets and completely satisfied.

I only had to remove 4 and pull it toward the inside of the fender.
2 on bottom, 1 inside the fender, and one above the top of the bumper.

No pictures, but I pulled enough back to get my arms through.
It's very durable and won't break. You can take out more screws if you need more room.
