Thinking about a new look. Not me, the Z. Who makes the best looking head-on look, something new and exciting.

Personally I love the J-spec and since its OEM the fitment is always legit.

What you will hear from probably 85% of the community is either 99 J-spec, Greddy Gracer (or knock-off) or Stillen's collection of lips. I am part of that 85% because this car is very hard to improve on looks-wise. Also 99.9838% of the kits made for the Z32 are just hideous!

Yea true. The Gracer is nice but I would just rather the Jspec since they are so similar and the Jspec is OEM.

I personally don't like the stillen. (My Z came with the stillen when I bought it :squint:)

I dont like any of the stillen full front ends, I was talking strictly about the lips. I think they all look great.

This is a knockoff of a ibherdesign kit from the early 2000s. It is also in my opinion the UGLIEST "KILL IT WITH FIRE" PIECE OF CRAP that has ever attempted to make its way into the 300zx community. If you are serious about this kit please for god's sake let me buy your Z and I'll help you find another less rare one to do this too because this kit is an abomination, sorry most of the time i'd say to each his own but I cannot in my right mind sit idly by while someone destroys a beautiful pristine Z like yours. Sorry if I've offended you but I had to speak my mind on this one.

Yep, that's what I will go with then. Now, what do I do with the rear?

Kidding.

99 OEM jspec (does not look like the stock USDM front end one bit Image
Greddy Gracer (also looks nothing like the USDM front) Image
Escort Front end (like the 99 jspec but with a built-in lip) Image
TwinZ Aero Front

Twin Z also has a really awesome rear bumper with built-in diffuser or you can buy the diffuser by itself. other than that I honestly don't like any of the other rears, take a look at kaminari and extremedimensions, also if you have the funds to payoutrageous prices check zcentre

There are a few other clean front out there but please PLEASE PLEASE I beg you don't turn your beautiful Z into an abomination or we'll all show up on your door-step with pitchforks and torches :dblthumb:

^^^Nice examples Anton...and OP, these are IMO the best choices for your Z32 bumper covers hands down both for fitment and style.
The TwinZ bumper is probably the most aggressive and least-seen (and hardest to get) option if you want to be different first and foremost, and I have heard no bad things about fitment. The TwinZ rear fascias are also by far the best looking pieces for the Z32, and I want a TwinZ2 rear BAD, but it's expensive and you have to get into the Z1 group buy and wait.
The OEM '99 jspec and I assume the near-OEM Escort bumpers will also fit flawlessly due to OEM fitment, but you WILL have issues with nearly any other brand except Stillen. The joints at the fenders and overall shape and finish of the pieces will be sub-par most likely, and require adjustment/modifications.
As another older Z-guy to another, go with the jspec or Escort as they look and fit best, and cost less (jspec) :dblthumb:

yup those i also agree are best for a number of reasons. when i first joined the site i wanted the Invader-2 style kit :

after seeing one in person, the nico guys were right, it doesn't fit well or look right.. i went through quite a few crazy kits before giving up and staying stock for now, or at least until i can afford a stilen3 or twinZ :)

in the end, do what you like though, if every Z was the same it would be pretty boring out there, just please keep the OEM stuff in the garage tucked away safe, just incase ;)

For the love of Mr. K please don't get that front bumper. If you do we will send Anton to go camp in your bushes while he plans a surprise attack.

GREAT point cb- when I foolishly pursued my NA bodykit urge the shop lost all of the stock mounting brackets and such that the aftermarket does not use, so going back to stock or jspec took hunting down those pieces which was a PITA.
DON'T lose those OEM pieces! :bigthumb:

I wouldn't stay stock, but just get one of the OEM replacements like jspec or Stillen or Escort.
IMO the '99 jspec perfectly finishes the front end styling of the Z32 by shrinking and tinting the too-ling DOT blinkers/markers, which fits with the IC ducts and fog light setup shape/styling better, plus the grille opening shape is by FAR the best shape for this area IMO.
Price is good (less than a stock OEM replacement at several sources!) and installation a snap...DO IT! :dblthumb:

So, how about the Stillen GTZ-R Gen 2 Faicia? Is the fit good? Just about to have th Z painted next week. Means I would have to get it here and install t in a week.

My vote goes to the Greddy Gracer as the best looking front fascia, followed so closely by the 99 JDM. I love the 99, especially with the lip combo on that red one, but I don't like the indention between the bottom of the mouth and the bottom of the bumper. The Gracer just has a smoother look imo, Urethane is also another reason for the choice.
Not a fan of any of the rear options except the TwinZ diffuser, which just bolts up to the factory rear bumper.
