Hey guys,

I bought myself a rb25 engine set. well the belts were in need of replacing problem is that my engine seems to have been sitting outside for awhile and has developed some rust.

Long story short I had to smash my clutch fan to get off a belt. now i have to replace it. has anyone done this yet and can tell me were to get one? I am hoping it will be the same as a part i can get dometically.

thanks

For the hassle of getting another clutch fan, think it'd just be easier to buy and install an electric fan? Depending on what kind of mounting you use the clutch fan may not even fit anyway ;)

another Texas RB owner!! You won't be using it anyway, unless you have some crazy mounting kit I have never heard of, the fan will not fit into the engine bay.

YOU DON'T NEED THE CLUTCH FAN WHEN SWAPPING THE MOTOR INTO A S-CHASSIS..... BUT IF YOUR DEAD SET ON RUNNING ONE, YOU CAN HAVE MY RB20DET ONE IF YOU PAY SHIPPING.

Pulling is more efficient, but space between the radiator and engine is very limited. For my RB20 swap there's no way in hell any puller I've seen would fit between the rad and engine, so I put a pusher on the front side of my radiator. I have a single 12" perma-cool that runs all the time, and a stock AC condensor fan on the radiator temperature switch that will come on if the car gets too hot. So far it has never come on since I put the Perma-Cool fan on, but I bet it will on those 100 degree plus days ;)

You can also look at the pics under my user name:http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....10980

I had FAL puller fans on the stock radiator. It tooks some modification, and they barelly cleared.

I upgraded to the Koyo, and switched to pusher fans.

You can see pics of both. I recommend going straight to pusher fans and getting a bigger radiator. The Koyo is huge compared to the stock radiator.

I'm fabricating a small belt fan for mine.. and using two pushers to back it up. I have the fan already i just need to drill new holes on the pulley. :D

And no like everyone said you don't need the stock fan it doesn't fit too well. Even if you got it to fit it may not be worth it because of the hassle....
