Replace battery, Alarm, and no key fob HELP!

Hey guys... My key fob has been on the fritz for a long time, to the point where I no longer use it because it just stopped working.

AT one point in time I thought it was the relay in the fuse box, so I switched that out tonight but no joy.

I am going to try replacing the battery in the fob again (like i said havent used it in years)

anyways...

assume I can not get the fob to communicate with the car, after replacing the fob button battery.

I am replacing the car battery (not to be confused with the keychain fob battery), and when I hook up the terminals the alarm sounds, horn beeps, lights flicker, you know the deal.

How can I turn the alarm off without the fob?

anyways.. disregard... removed the fuse for "anti horn" and then was able to figure out i can start the car with the key to disable...
