Replace A/C Switch

Canaan believes that I might have a bad A/C switch becasue I cannot turn off the A/C no matter what setting I am on.

I have a 2007 Versa which normally allows you to turn off the A/C even on the Defrost settings and I used to be able to do it.

Then I could turn it off after the car had warmed up (I am in Ohio).

But now the switch will not turn off at all.

Has anyone had this problem and replaced the switch by themselves?

If so, I would like to know what all that entails.

If I remember, isn't the whole unit together as one piece (the heat/AC unit that is)?

If so, it probably easier to find an entire heat/AC/controls piece and swap them out.

Best bets are ebay or car-part.com (listing of junkyards) and may have to get the '07 to keep the A/C able to turn off.
