I have a 2010 SL and the passenger side xenon headlight lens has some sort of issue with clouding & crazing of the INTERIOR of the lens.
I've tried to access the lens though the hole for the bulb but that was a joke.
I've seen some instructions for removing the lens but I'm just going to replace the whole housing.
I've found them available new for $125-$145 which is acceptable.

My question is: How difficult is it to remove & reinstall the housing?
Am I going to need any special tools?

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, you need to remove the air intake, and other top trim pieces, then the screws and pins in the front wheel wells, and the shrouds and pins underneath. You need to remove the bumper and set it aside. You will then have access to the screws for the headlamp assemblies.
There are several videos online showing the process you can likely search for.
