Replace 2000 QX4 with 2001 QX4 Deck and Navigation?

Now call me a newbie, but I am in no way shape or form very well with cars. I had a question though, for a 2000 QX4. Can the Deck/Dashboard area of the CD player be replaced with the 2001 QX4 with all the navigation and such? Basically, just the navigation part, if I buy that off of a 2001 QX4, can I fit it into my 2000 QX4?

to be honest im not even sure! I was going to look into the same thing as you but when i saw the price of that system used and the fact that it doesnt have the same connectivity as aftermarket systems....i decided not to.

i dont think its worth it,you will also need a 01+ dash kit and relocate about 10 other things since they're both designed differently..on top of that a used qx4/pathfinder nav unit,being a rare piece will cost you nearly as much as an aftermarket unit from Alpine,Pioneer Kenwood or Eclipse.

This is off topic but i have a 2001 pathfinder LE, but i am looking for the M102/M103 connectors on the back of your guys Heater and A/C controls...

any help would be appreciated...
