So, I am investigating a gas leak on my S14. I am about to take the tank out today to see if it is indeed from a crack in the tank or if its from a deteriorated rubber hose. Has anyone attempted to reseal the plastic gas tank with JB weld or by some other means??? Replacement tanks are hard to come by and or expensive to ship. Thanks for any insight!!

There's a special epoxy for gas tanks actually. It's black and really hard. Get excited.

Should be easy to call and request by that name, don't know the exact brand. Good luck!
