Like an idiot I managed to curb my rim when parking in a tight spot. I've attached some photos of the damage and I'm wondering if I can get this repaired for not too much money. Anyone know of shops that do this in the DC metro area?

Sorry about huge images

you can look up in the phone book for any company that does "wheel refinishing" they usually charge around $100 per rim depending on the extent of the damage. or you could try to fix it yourself, if you google "how to fix curb rash" you get a lot of results on how to do it. essentially you just sand, bondo (or some other fill), then resand and then spray paint. gl with the fix.

Whoa, how did you do that with a fatty sidewall like that?

Anyway here is a good article about repairing this kind of damage. Off a Porsche site...

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know if that wurth silver wheel paint is a good match for nissan rims? porsche rims seem to be about the same color

yeah that's a good question, i need to do some repairs too because i bought a set of used rims with some curb damage. that wurth stuff does look like a close match, maybe if you go to an auto detailing store they could tell you what would be a good match
