have many/any of you successfully paid for a repair for wheel curb rash? previous owner did a number on three of my wheels..one is okay to live with. i've heard some mobile's will come to you and do the repair without removing tire or wheel..just tape it off...and others want to pick up the wheels and do them at a shop. i'll be in atlanta for about a week, wondering if there'd be more, and mobile, options there as opposed to here in little rock..

i'll try attaching pics..read the faq, use photobucket, but have yet to get it to work.:

The front wheels of my G were repaired and looked fine for a while. At this point I can now see some of the primer sneaking through on the spokes and will need to take it back to the local Infiniti dealer to have their guy touch it back up. I believe I paid $75 each for them to be fixed.

This just happened to me yesterday when I was leaving a customers and backing out I cut the wheel too sharp and caught the curb. Argghhhh! It cut through like butter. Looks just like your photo, same rim.

I would be interested in more information on this as well. Thanks in advance for any help.

Mine mentioned they offer this service as well. Didn't mention price though.

Around $100 per wheel is normal for wheel repair though. Would try through the dealer since they should have faith in who does theirs.

I had a mobile unit come out to the house to straighten one and fix some road rash on another....THey did a great job!! I think the road rash cost me $50 on the one wheel.
