repair of interior paint

2008 350Z and the paint on the arm rest and plastic around the air ducts is coming off. At first I thought the armrest was defective,had it replaced but it just makes the interior look bad....any help please

It's a common problem on the Z's, especially the earlier ones. Wrap it with 3M carbon fiber vinyl. If you can find an off brand that's cheaper and thinner that should hold up fine on the interior, if you were wrapping the exterior I'd stick with the heavy duty 3M vinyl though.
