hi, i'm new to the 300zx world and am in the process of buying a 1992 n/a 300zx. i can't seem to find a repair manual anywhere. i've been told that neither chiltons nor haynes makes one for the car. i've tried nissan and was told they could get me an owners manual. and i've looked online and found nothing. i figured that a lot of other people have found themselves in this situation. does anybody have any info on where to find one? i'm very confused as to why i can't find one. the car i'm looking to buy needs some work and i don't want to buy it without being able to get a suitable repair manual. thanks for the help guys.

$95 which is kind of high IMO. You can also get the 'manuals on CD', but I would be weary of such things as they are often crappy scans of original manuals. Besides nothing like having the book right there when you're working on the car (Who wants fumble through a possibly bad manual on CD? /shrug)!

Your best bet is an OEM service manual. I have one in print that I use regularly.

If you don't need one in print I can link you to one online for free.

in print, you mean it's still in print? or it's paper. i have one on CD but it's annoying. the one that the other guy posted in this thread on ebay is $95 "Buy It Now" - is that a reasonable price? where would you get the OEM one from?

thanks!!

OE FSM's from the dealer aren't cheap, I have one that cost $80 and one that was $140, and that was new from the parts counter when they were avaible

I think it is....the wiring diagram especially should be the same for all years 90-96....I hope so, I bought a project car as well, 1990 300zx non-T and hopefully this manual helps.
