Get a Chilton's repair manual. I'm a two-bit spare time work-on-my-car guy but between Chilton's, the info on the forums and the install articles on some parts websites I've find out how to do anything to my car myself. Nice car!

I have a chilton manual for my '91. It is ok for very general things, there is not much detail because it covers the altima and other models. You will be much better off finding the link on here to download the factory service manual.

Yeah, I forgot about that one. I've got one of those on disc and they are very detailed with the break-it-downage.

if you go into autozone, talk to a guy at the desk, tellem you want a code to log into autozone/alldata DIY. it cost 4.99, and you get 7 days of unlimited downloads. its everything and i mean EVERYTHING that a service tech at a nissan dealership has access to. rightdown to cost of labor, part numbers, torque specs, every nut and bolt, teardown sheets, complete rebuild sheets, you name it, its got it. even stock camber/caster settings. im tellin ya, you wont find more info. my account wouldnt work, so i called the 1-800 number, and got a year subscription for the price of a 7 day pass. ive used it so much in the last month. just bought my 95 240sx 5-speed with 101k miles, only cost 3 grand. it was garage kept, no rust or dents. its a peach man.
