Repacement oil pumps

Ok so Im doing a basic rebuild on my 96 ka24de on a small budget. My oil pump took a crab and screwed my bearings and so on. What i need to know is whats the word on these evergreen automotive parts??? Ive heard the head gaskets are junk but what about the oil pumps, timing chain sets,waterpumps, and rings or bearings??? They have a full engine rebuild kit for 300 dollars complete with all even pistons. haha. Sounds too cheap to last long but Im just doin a stock rebuild. So any input on the oil pump quality would be appreciated.

A guy that used to work for me rebuilt a single slammer KA using one of those kits and he hasn't had any problems with it.I would recommend a better head gasket for sure.
